Friday evening update: As of around 8:20pm this evening, a narrow band of precip has developed over the Plateau - as I was taking the garbage cans to the curb, I joked there's nothing worse than 36º rain (except 32-35º rain, of course)...then it turned to ice pellets. I've now found something I like even less than 36º rain: 36º ice pellets! (Pic attached - it's technically different than hail, even though it looks and feels similar...but that's a discussion for a different day.)

Temps will drop to near or below freezing tonight, though the precip will cut off in the next hour or so...and with it, any chance of seeing actual snow flakes.

Roads will most likely be a tad slick in the morning, especially if we get more of these ice pellets coating the pavement...be careful if you're out and about early tomorrow morning!

Aside from a couple potential showers over the rest of the weekend, it should be fairly dry - and even a bit sunny! Though it will be on the chilly side...afternoon highs only in the low- to mid-40s, with overnight lows probably dropping below freezing.
