A dry start to the weekend, before wet and mild conditions return for the beginning of the week.

Today (Friday) turned out to be a pretty decent day! Sunbreaks, and temps topped out in the low-50s. Tomorrow (Saturday) will be similar - sunbreaks to start off the day, before clouds thicken up through the afternoon and evening.

One big story to start the week will be rain. It'll start late Saturday evening, lasting through Monday evening - current estimates show around 1.5 inches by that point. While we won't see steady rain all day long, it's best to plan for frequent periods of rain. We're towards the southern end of the precip, as it'll be focused more north of us...but we also could be affected by some rain shadowing from the Olympic Mountains. Winds might get a bit breezy at times, but nothing to be concerned about. By Tuesday, we should dry out for the rest of the week!

The other big story of the week will be the mild temps - afternoon highs will top out in the upper-40s to low-50s to start the week, but could top out near 60º on Wednesday! Needless to say, this is not good for the snowpack in the mountains. By the end of the week, overnight lows should get cooler, upper-30s to low-40s...but afternoon highs still stay on either side of 50º.

Enjoy your weekend!!
