What a beautiful week it's been for early spring!! (...checks calendar...) Wait, it's only mid-January 😳
This stretch of sunny afternoons will continue through the weekend, and well into next week. Honestly, not a ton to write about! Overnights will be chilly, since we don't have the "blanket of clouds" to keep the heat in - we'll drop down to the mid-30s to around freezing for the next many nights. Afternoon highs will be in the upper-40s to low-50s - that's also dependent on how much fog or low-clouds we have to deal with, and how long it takes to burn off each morning. Doesn't look like we'll get to 60º like we did this past Tuesday though!
One thing to note: winds are expected to ease over the next day or so, meaning there isn't much "mixing" of the air going on. That means as we get into next week, we might be dealing with some air quality issues, due to the stagnant air - this could make the air appear hazy as you look off in the distance. Something to monitor over the coming days.
