Happy first day of spring! Who'da thunk by late this afternoon, it'd actually feel like spring? We'll get a brief break to dry out this weekend, before the typical rollercoaster of spring weather continues next week.
Aside from a low chance of a few scattered showers, this weekend looks dry overall - and clouds should even clear out for some partly- to mostly-sunny skies! Good chance to get outside, though maybe with a sweatshirt. We'll cool down a few degrees from the last several days...high temps only in the low-50s, with overnight lows dropping back to the upper-30s.
However, just because it won't rain this weekend doesn't mean we're completely out of the woods. All of King County is under a Flood Watch, as area rivers are still running quite high - closest to home, the Snoqualmie River has not crested yet as of Friday night, and will remain in flood stage until Saturday night or early Sunday morning. There's also an increased risk of landslides across western Washington, due to all the rain we've gotten over the past week.
Looking ahead to next week, our next system arrives on Tuesday - at this point, it's looking like a pretty wet day, with breezy conditions. Another system hot on its heels Wednesday, bringing more rain. We'll take another look as it gets closer - for now, enjoy the weekend!
