Tuesday early-afternoon update: The Heat Advisory is now in effect until late tomorrow night! It was pretty hazy this morning too - air quality has degraded even since last night...still in the "acceptable" range though. Some mid- to high-level clouds are sticking around too.
That means I'll keep that conditional part of the forecast from last night: as of 1:45pm, it's already in the upper-80s...low-90s is a slam-dunk, with a few more hours of daytime heating to come - but it definitely could get up to the mid- to upper-90s. It's also gonna feel a bit muggy (by PNW standards) - there's some extra moisture in the air, meaning this isn't our more usual "dry heat wave"...(spoiler alert, that affects the potential for thunderstorms in a few days too.) Back tonight with another update!
