Good news, bad news...I'll start with the bad news first: we're going to be dealing with some smoke again over the next few days, though shouldn't be as bad as last week. Good news: it won't be as hot as last week!
Let's briefly talk about the temps: a quick "cooldown" tomorrow (Wednesday), dropping into the mid-70s, before bouncing back to the low-80s Thursday, and mid- to upper-80s Friday.
Now onto the smoke: the winds high up in the atmosphere are shifting, and will bring smoke from wildfires up in BC down to western Washington during the day tomorrow. Since the smoke is traveling a relatively long distance, most of it should stay fairly high up, giving us the hazy look by tomorrow afternoon...though some smoke could mix down to the surface by tomorrow evening, potentially giving us whiffs of it. At this point, it doesn't look like it'll get much worse than the "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" category at times, but that's always subject to change.
Enjoy the fresh air while you can tomorrow morning and mid-day - to be on the safe side, I'd be looking to close windows by just after lunch-time. I'll be back tomorrow with more updates!
