Wednesday night update: As expected, the smoke rolled in this afternoon...but it mixed down to the surface slightly more than expected. I could smell it this evening, though it's still in the "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" category! It was also cloudier today, making for an interesting satellite loop to watch - you can see the smoke move towards the I-90 corridor early/mid-afternoon, but the clouds provided quite the show too...and kept us on the cooler side!
Tomorrow (Thursday) looks like less clouds, more heat, and similar smoke. We could get to the low- to mid-80s...though the smoke could knock a few degrees off, depending on how thick it is. Seems like most of it remains high up in the atmosphere, and we stay in the "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" range...but that's always subject to change. More updates to come tomorrow!
