Hope you enjoyed the last weekend of summer! Even with those morning clouds and fog, the afternoons sure have been very pleasant. Enjoy them while you can! Fall officially begins tomorrow (Tuesday): the autumn equinox is 5:05pm tomorrow evening - that's the moment the sun is directly above the equator. We'll get a few more days of more than 12 hours of daylight though - Friday is our first day with sunsets before 7pm (😱), and Saturday is our first day with sunrise after 7am...we're losing over 3 minutes of daylight per day right now! We've already started feeling the "fall-like" weather - normal afternoon highs for this time of year fall into the upper-60s, while the normal overnight lows drop into the low-50s - though we're still several weeks away from chances for our first frost!

The weather stays fairly quiet for the next few days. We'll continue our pattern of morning clouds and fog, and afternoon sun...though those afternoon high temps will drop back to the upper-60s to around 70º - not the mid-70s we've had the past few days! Might get some drizzle or light showers the next couple early-mornings, but the next good chance of rain appears Thursday/Friday. Next weekend looks cooler and showery too - pretty typical actual-fall weather!
