Our first fall storm is here! A wet, breezy system rolls through overnight tonight (Thursday night) through tomorrow (Friday).

Light showers have already made their way towards the Plateau, ahead of steady overnight rain. It'll change to showers by tomorrow morning, lasting through the afternoon - some showers could be heavy, with an outside chance of some thunder too. Activity should wrap up by tomorrow night - but we could end up with around an inch of rain out of it!

It'll also be pretty breezy from mid-morning through the evening hours - peak gusts from the south/southwest look to be around the 20-30 mph range. Normally not much of a story later on in the fall...but since the trees still have most of their leaves, this could turn out a bit more impactful than usual. Or, it could just give us some early leaves to rake up this weekend! I'll post another update tomorrow morning if anything changes.

The weekend looks fairly dry, but chilly - afternoon temps only in the low-60s..definitely feeling like fall!
