Friday morning 8am update: A slight uptick in the expected wind speeds - now thinking peak gusts in the 30 mph range, maybe topping 40 mph. The window of peak winds is between 10am and 2pm, though it’ll be breezy before and after that too.

The strongest winds should stay to our south - the National Weather Service has a wind Advisory out for the south Puget Sound and towards the coast…the Plateau is not included right now, though all that means is they don’t expect the winds over us to meet that criteria.

Getting into the weeds a bit: the center of the storm is coming in a bit further north than we thought - currently making landfall around Long Beach, rather than the northern Oregon coast. This shifts some of the wind impacts further north as well, as it makes its way northeastward across the state.
