It's June 1st - today marks the start of meteorological summer! For stats and record-keeping purposes, it's easier to use the first of the month rather than the solstice or equinox dates, which aren't always the same year-to-year.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) will definitely feel like summer - afternoon highs in the upper-80s, though touching 90º isn't completely out of the question. The air will feel pretty dry - not quite Arizona-dry, but let's still call it "nose bleed weather". However, that also means an increase in fire danger across the entire area.

The heat is short-lived - Wednesday and Thursday drop back to the upper-60s to low-70s, before we knock another 10 degrees off Friday and Saturday, closer to 60º both days. Chance of showers return Wednesday, before a better chance in the Friday/Saturday timeframe. On the bright side, we've had worse "June-uary" weather before - I'll take it!
